Lahaina, Hawai'i

Recently, just returned from an experience in Hawai'i, on the island of Maui.

While some travel to the islands for sunbathing and resorts, a group of us were able to stay with the locals, learn about the culture and past, and see some parts of the land where only natives have access. It was an incredible experience, and completely changed my perspective of Hawai'i. I am very lucky to have been a part of it.

When I return to the island someday, there's no way I'll be able to stay at a resort when the alternative is so breathtaking!

  1. That's wonderful! I think it's always nicer/better to do as the locals do. I get more of a fulfilling experience that way.
